CREDO Mobile has donated
$95,360,789
since 1985
Since 1985, CREDO Mobile (previously called Working Assets) has operated a unique donations program. Unique because it’s a community effort.
Here’s how it works. When our customers use our service, they generate funds for our donations program. Every month, we nominate three nonprofits to receive donations, then our community members vote to decide which groups they want to fund.
You can vote for one, two or all three of the organizations. At the end of each month, we tabulate all votes and distribute the donations accordingly.
The next month, we do it again.
We fund nonprofit groups that are dedicated to social change for people and the planet. We primarily fund organizations that fall within six broad categories: Civil Rights, Climate Justice, Peace, Women’s Rights, Economic Justice and Voting Rights.
We fund dozens of nonprofits like these every year. Some are old; some are new; some big, some small. They are fearless, timely, and important. They tackle many different issues in diverse ways. What they all have in common is a desire to make a better world. There is no other donations program like this.
You can learn more about how our donations process works on our blog.
Most companies go into business to make money. Over thirty five years ago, we went into business to make change. With over $95 million donated to nonprofits, we’ve succeeded better than we ever imagined.
Without CREDO Mobile and our customers, these donations would not be possible. When you switch to CREDO Mobile, you’ll get all you want from a phone company: the nation’s top-rated network, competitive plans and great deals on new devices. And you get much more. You get an easy and effective way to make a difference.
