The National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) is the country’s only national civil rights organization dedicated solely to eliminating all forms of housing and lending discrimination and ensuring equal opportunities for all people. As the trade association for over 170 fair housing and justice-centered organizations and individuals throughout the U.S. and its territories, NFHA works to dismantle longstanding barriers to equity and build diverse, inclusive, well-resourced communities.

CREDO's Impact

This grant will have a tremendous impact on NFHA’s work and would directly be used to support our Advancing a Blueprint for Equity campaign. This campaign commemorates the passage of the Federal Fair Housing Act, celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s contributions to housing justice and equity, and advances solutions that address some of our nation’s most intractable problems and help us envision and achieve a brighter, fairer, more just society.

Since 1985, we’ve donated over $95 million to groups like the Sunrise Movement, Doctors without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, Amnesty International, March For Our Lives, Brennan Center for Justice and Black Alliance for Just Immigration.
